About Rusty
I did not read about this in a book.
I lived every bit of it.
If you are going to tell someone the thing you have never said out loud, you are entitled to know who you are telling it to.
My road has not been a smooth one, and I would be the first to tell you so. There have been dark stretches. Times when life felt fractured, when the ground shifted, when I had to face things most of us would rather look away from.
Grief. Loss. That particular exhaustion that comes from carrying something heavy for far too long and telling everyone you are fine.
It was exactly there, in the hard and honest places, that this work found me. When you have had to heal yourself, you understand healing differently. When you have sat with your own darkness and found the way through it, you are not frightened by anyone else's. That is the part you cannot learn on a course.
The thing I have always been able to do
For as long as I can remember I have felt what other people miss. The mood in a room before a word is spoken. The emotion sitting underneath what somebody is saying. The pain a person is carrying that they have never said aloud, sometimes not even to themselves.
It reaches beyond people as well. Animals have always taken to me in ways that are difficult to explain. I feel their energy, their distress, their trust, in exactly the way I feel it in the people I sit with.
I did not study this first. I was born with it, and I have spent a lifetime learning to understand it, trust it, and use it with care. The intuition was always the foundation. Everything else was built on top.
Why I call myself a guide and not a coach
Because I do not believe anybody has the right to tell you how to live. Not me, not a programme, not somebody with a certificate and a framework they apply to everyone who walks in.
What I can do is help you see clearly, and give you the tools to trust your own judgement again. The decision stays yours. It was always going to be yours. Most people who feel lost are not short of options, they have simply stopped believing their own read on things.
My job is to get you to the point where you do not need me. I am genuinely not interested in being a permanent fixture in anyone's life.
And why I am not the healer you are picturing
There is a version of this work that involves candles, soft voices, and asking you to believe a great deal before anything happens. That is not me, and if I am honest it has always made me slightly uncomfortable.
We are all made of energy. That is not a belief system, it is just true. I happen to be able to read it and work with it, and I have learned to do that carefully over a very long time. I am not going to ask you to accept anything up front. Judge it by whether it works.
I am also not going to perform serenity at you. I swear occasionally. I will tell you when I think you are avoiding something. I have been accused of being too direct more than once and I have made peace with it, because gentle vagueness has never helped anybody.
The thirty years underneath it
Alongside all of that sits a working life. Around thirty years of management, ownership and leadership, across hospitality, leisure and corporate sales. Thousands of conversations with people under real pressure, in rooms where misreading somebody was not a small mistake.
That taught me how people actually behave, as opposed to how they say they behave. It taught me that almost nobody says what they mean first time. And it gave me the practical half of this work, the confidence and communication side, which I have since trained in formally as well.
The learning sharpened the instinct. It never replaced it.
Nobody to impress but yourself
That line is not a slogan I picked because it sounded good. It is the thing I had to learn the hard way, over years, and it is the thing I watch almost every person I work with struggling against.
We spend extraordinary amounts of energy being a version of ourselves we think other people will accept. It is exhausting, it is lonely, and it quietly removes you from your own life.
I am done pretending. That is what I am offering you, really, underneath the healing and the tools and the conversations. One room where you do not have to perform, with somebody who will not flinch at whatever you bring into it.
Nobody to impress but yourself.

How I Work
Four things you can count on.
I will tell you the truth
Including when the truth is that I am not the right person for you, or that what you actually need is a therapist or a doctor. I would far rather say that in the first conversation than take on work that will not help.
Nothing leaves the room
What you share is never repeated, published, or used as an example without your explicit written permission. I read and answer every enquiry myself, so even your first message does not pass through anyone else.
No judgement, about anything
Where you are, how you got here, what you have done, what you have not. I have been in enough difficult places of my own to have lost any appetite for looking down on people.
You stop when it stops helping
There is no package you are locked into and no programme to complete. We work together for exactly as long as it is useful, and not a session longer. I will tell you when I think we are done.
If any of that sounds like
what you have been looking for
Tell me roughly what is going on. It does not need to be neat, and you do not need to have the words yet. Most people who get in touch do not.
